Who we are
CEPT was founded in 2010 by Carsten Entinger and has been controlling schedules in complex capital projects ever since. We are based in Dorsten in the northern Ruhr area, close to the plants and construction sites we plan for.
Our role is advisory: we build schedules that hold up under scrutiny, control them throughout the project and hand planning and routines back to our clients’ teams. Whatever we change along the way is documented, traceable for steering committees, departments and auditors.
How we grew
2010: founded
Carsten Entinger founds CEPT as a consultancy for scheduling and schedule control.
Roots in petrochemicals
The first projects are in petrochemical plants: turnarounds and expansions with tight windows and dense interfaces.
Chemicals, pharma and crop science
From petrochemicals the portfolio grows into the neighbouring process industries, with regulatory demands that tie schedule and qualification inseparably together.
2022/2023: healthcare, infrastructure, new shareholder
In 2022 healthcare and infrastructure projects are added. In 2023 a new shareholder joins and broadens the basis for further growth.
